After testing our mettle on mountain bikes in Moab, we grabbed an excellent lunch at an outdoor cafe (with water misters to keep us cool, of course). Later that afternoon, armed with knowledge shared by some locals, we sought a natural swimming hole to continue the cooling. Though the trail made us dubious, we were pleasantly surprised when we reached the destination and a picture perfect pool surrounded by rock walls and fed by a waterfall. It was an ideal spot to cool off and take in the scenery. Oh, and we also saw ancient native american pictographs along the way as well. Refreshing and educational!
