After completing our Delicate Arch excursion before the midday heat, we made our way out of the park with a couple more stops. First was a scenic over look of an area called "Park Avenue." The towering structures in neat rows on either side do resemble buildings on a city block, but I think they also look like the backdrop of the quintessential western movie. In either case, another impressive landscape worth the stop. Our second stop was the visitor center to complete the Junior Ranger badges, of course. For dinner that night we took advantage of a restaurant being within walking distance and enjoyed a great meal at the Atomic Cafe. Apparently, a large part of Moab's history involves uranium mining at the dawn of the nuclear age in the US, so several of Moab's establishments make reference to the atomic energy.
