Day 13: From looking up to looking down

In Zion we were looking up from the canyon floor, and now at Bryce we look down from the canyon rim. In both cases, we didn't stop there, we hiked the direction we looked. Here in Bryce, that means that we hiked down among the hoodoos through the Queen's Garden and then up through Wall Street. The colors and grandeur of the rock features were spectacular and emphasized by walking directly among them. Our timing was once again very fortunate, as a rain storm came through that evening and excited everyone with multiple lightning strikes.
