Day 2 word of the day: conglomerate

combination of smaller rocks that have fused together to form one new stone, or the name of the amazing rock formation we saw when driving down Titus Canyon). A big shout out to Mark Eischeid for introducing this geological wonder to Mike when the two of them were driving down this same canyon with Ryan Rigoli many years ago. Then, as they were driving through the canyon (probably a bit too fast as evidenced by Ryan's white-knuckle death grip on the handles and dash board) Mark shouted out, "Wow, look at that conglomerate!" The Simmons family got to experience this for themselves today and learned a new word!
