Day 2: Titus Canyon

27 miles off road to Leadville ghost town (prior post), and through one of the most spectacular canyon drives. After winding through switchbacks and navigating a "road" where we were very happy to have four-wheel drive, we dropped into a slot canyon with rock walls rising on either side of us and in some places just enough room to drive a truck through. Fun driving for Mike and a beautiful drive for the family - a perfect activity (with air conditioning!) for our 120-something degree day.
